OUR PASTOR
Pastor & Mrs. Brockman
Jason Brockman, pastor of Colorado Springs Baptist Church, was born in Wheatridge, Colorado. He received his early schooling in Colorado and later attended Christian high school in Santa Clara, California.
Pastor Brockman trusted Christ as his personal Saviour in 1984 while attending the Liberty Baptist Temple in Denver, Colorado. The high school years were a turning point in Pastor Brockman’s life. During that time, he rededicated his life and surrendered to God on June 20, 1990 at a youth conference in Northern California.
Sensing God’s call to ministry, Pastor Brockman enrolled in Bible college and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Golden State Baptist College with a Bachelors degree in Pastoral Theology in 1999. Pastor Brockman ministered in both Colorado and Tennessee as an Adult Sunday School teacher, Music Leader and Youth Pastor. Most recently he served as an Associate Pastor in Colorado Springs.
Having had a burden to Pastor in his home state of Colorado from an early age, Pastor Brockman followed God’s call to start the Colorado Springs Baptist Church in September of 2014. The church is a needy beacon in the Pikes Peak region.
Pastor Brockman’s heartbeat is that of a pastor. He loves his church and has a passion for serving people.
Pastor Brockman married Mendy Buck of Springfield, Tennessee on April 8, 2000. Mendy was born and raised in Tennessee and graduated from The Crown College in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has served as a church secretary, worked with young teen and college age ladies and served faithfully alongside her husband in the ministry. The Brockmans have four children: Alana (2007), Ainsley (2008), Analiese (2009) and Jack (2011).
